One image, one prompt, one clip

How to turn a photo into a video

Nano Image uses your uploaded picture as the first frame. Your prompt describes how the subject, camera, environment, and sound should develop from that frame.

Upload one clear image

Use a product photo, portrait, illustration, or scene with a clearly visible subject and enough room for the requested movement.

Describe visible motion

Say what the subject does, how the camera moves, what changes in the environment, and what audio belongs in the scene.

Generate and review the MP4

Choose 5–20 seconds, 720p or 1080p, and the output shape. Inspect the full result before publishing it.

Practical uses

Animate product photos, portraits, artwork, and scenes

Use image-to-video when the subject or environment needs to move. It is suited to short product reveals, social clips, natural portrait motion, animated illustrations, and atmospheric scene movement.

Product photos

Add a slow reveal, moving light, or environmental motion for a short product clip. Check labels and exact geometry before publishing.

Portraits

Request a blink, small head turn, breathing, or gentle hair movement instead of trying to animate everything at once.

Illustrations

Move selected elements such as clouds, water, fabric, particles, or light while asking the model to retain the original style.

Scene photos

Add wind, weather, traffic, people, camera motion, or ambient sound to turn a still scene into a short establishing shot.

Image to Video vs. Camera Movement Video

Choose this tool when the subject or environment should move. Choose Camera Movement Video when the scene should remain frozen and you want to direct a virtual orbit, rise, push-in, or pull-out.

Open Camera Movement Video

Start with an image the model can read

  • Use one clearly visible subject and avoid heavy blur or tiny details.
  • Leave room around the subject for the requested movement.
  • Describe a small number of visible actions in one continuous shot.
  • State important details to preserve, but keep the motion instruction concise.
  • Use 720p for prompt tests, then switch to 1080p after the motion is working.

What image-to-video cannot guarantee

A single image does not reveal every side of a person, product, or location. The model must infer hidden areas and intermediate movement. Small text, logos, hands, faces, reflections, and exact product geometry can change during the clip.

The output is a generated MP4, not an editable 3D scene, camera rig, or frame-perfect reconstruction. Review the entire video before using it in advertising, identity-sensitive work, or product claims.

AI image-to-video questions

How do I turn a photo into a video?

Upload one PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, or HEIF image, describe the visible motion and sound you want, choose a duration, resolution, and aspect ratio, then generate the MP4.

Can I animate a product photo?

Yes. Product photos can be used for short reveals, moving light, camera motion, or environmental movement. Inspect labels, logos, colors, and exact geometry because generated details can drift.

Can the generated video include sound?

Yes. FLUX.3 can generate audio with the video. You can turn audio off when you want a silent MP4 for later editing.

What video lengths and resolutions are supported?

Choose any whole-second duration from 5 to 20 seconds at 720p or 1080p. The selected duration and resolution determine the credit cost.

Will faces, logos, and product text stay unchanged?

They may remain stable in simpler clips, but exact preservation is not guaranteed. Reduce unnecessary motion, state what matters in the prompt, and review every frame before publishing.

How is this different from Camera Movement Video?

Image to Video can animate the subject, environment, camera, and sound from a prompt. Camera Movement Video is a separate tool that asks the subject to remain frozen while you control a camera trajectory.

What file do I receive?

The result is an MP4 saved to your Nano Image history and available to open or download after generation.

Are credits refunded if generation fails?

Credits are reserved before the paid fal request. If the request fails or no valid MP4 can be stored, the reserved credits are refunded automatically.

Can I use the video commercially?

The provider labels the model for commercial use. You still need rights to the source image and must review people, trademarks, audio, and generated details before publishing.
