Why do 2K and 4K cost different credits?
You can choose the output that fits the job: use 2K for everyday web and social images, or 4K when you need more detail for large layouts and print.
Do included credits roll over?
No. Free credits reset at the start of each UTC calendar month, and included subscription credits reset every billing cycle. Purchased top-up credits stay on your account until you use them.
What happens when I run out of included credits?
You can buy a credit pack and keep creating immediately. The app uses included credits first, then purchased credits.
What is the difference between promotional and purchased credits?
Promotional signup credits add extra trial capacity after the monthly Free allowance is used. Free accounts can create watermark-free 2K evaluation images, but promotional credits do not unlock 4K, commercial-use rights, video, or 3D. An active Starter/Pro subscription, or a one-time credit-pack purchase while top-up balance remains, unlocks those paid account rights.
Do advanced effects cost more?
Some advanced effects run more than one generation step. When that happens, credits are charged per step and the editor will show a note before you generate.
Is video generation included?
Video Camera Controls is available for active Starter or Pro subscribers and accounts with purchased top-up credits. The exact credit cost is shown before generation and depends on duration and resolution. A 1080p, 15-second video costs 54 credits, so a 50-credit pack alone is not enough for that option.
How are 3D models charged?
Image to 3D and Text to 3D use the same Tripo P2 rates: 15 credits without textures, 16 for standard, 17 for detailed, or 18 for extreme textures per model. An active paid subscription or a purchased credit pack is required, plus enough available credits for the selected setting. A 10-credit pack alone is not enough; signup bonus credits alone do not unlock 3D generation. Failed requests refund reserved credits.
Can I use generated images commercially?
An active Starter/Pro subscription, or a purchased credit pack while top-up balance remains, includes commercial-use rights for eligible generated outputs. You must still own or have permission to use the source material and review third-party rights. Free and promotional-credit outputs are watermark-free but remain for personal evaluation only.
Is subtitle transcription included?
No. Subtitle transcription is temporarily paused while the product focuses on image generation, cleanup, background removal, and product photo tools.
